Home renovations are always so exciting! It’s satisfying to see an old, dilapidated home being transformed into something new and awesome.

In today’s home tour, we take you through a before and after home transformation that is like no other. From a tiny dilapidated house to a cozy family home, this truly is a real home makeover!

Check out how this old, rundown house gets a total makeover that surprisingly transform it into a modern cozy home.

Huge difference between the before and after photos.

From old and dilapidated to something new and stylish.

Some masonry walls are replaced by glass walls to make it look spacious.

The main colors white and black, creates a wonderful contrast.

Pham Minh Nhat, a young architect, carefully spent his time to design this impressive transformation project, which has a total area of 180 square meter. The total makeover, took him about 3 months, from conceptualizing the design to the completion of the project.

The old facade looks bleak and common.

The architect skillfully selected two main colors: black and white. White to achieve a modern look which also makes the spaces look bigger and bright. Black as an accent to emphasize certain things. He also used some wooden colored furniture as natural aesthetic and to have a homey feeling.

As for the empty spaces, the architect uses green plants which is very refreshing to look at.

Now, the main entrance looks exciting and inviting.

The living room is decorated with a black & gray sofa, and a modern metal-framed glass table.

Across the sofa is a minimalist tv stand in black and white color

The accent wall behind the TV is simple but harmonious.

The front window is redesigned with a transparent glass wall, spacious and convenient for everyone in the family to sit and read.

In order to ensure that it doesn’t look too boring, the architect also made sure that a few interesting elements are added by using glass, concrete and wood coupled with some neutral colors to balance it out.

That’s not all, one of the most refreshing things about its design is the inclusion of beautiful green plants dotted around the house that really gives a breath of fresh air inside the home and makes it look more lively.

The front of the house has lots of light and green scenery.

The house uses bold lines and with plenty of glass decor around especially for the windows and even the walls, you can expect lots of natural light to stream in, ensuring that the house is bright and airy.

In fact, one of the bedroom walls is made of glass adorned with a thick curtain for privacy when needed which makes it pretty quirky.

The master’s bedroom looks more beautiful thanks to the well-placed lights.

The glass wall looks elegant and adds a sense of spaciousness.

All of the bedrooms look luxurious and comfy, with a few eclectic accessories here and there to keep it from being too boring.

The position of the kitchen encourages conversation between family and friends

Sitting next to the kitchen is an airy laundry room and service area.

“The time from designing, renovating the raw part and finishing interior is about 3 months. Since I do the freelance design, I always follow the project closely. At the beginning, I am the one who chooses each brick, each piece of décor to complete. There are decorations that I have to hand-craft, paint and think how to do. realistic,” according to Architect Minh Nhat.

“Actually, the process is very extreme, but when it comes to the results. Receiving positive feedback from customers and friends, I feel very happy. And there is more motivation to continue with the new works ahead,” he added.

This contemporary single story house consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a living space of 165 square meters.

As you enter from the main sliding door, you will be greeted by the combined living room, dining room, and kitchen areas.

These three areas are combined to maximize the floor area in the house.

From the kitchen, there is a back door leading to the other terrace. This terrace can be used as a service area, a dirty kitchen or a laundry area.
